Association of Commanders of Industrial Fire and Rescue Brigades - AVHZSP (2016 since)

Association of Commanders of Industrial Fire and Rescue Brigades (AVHZSP) is a professional and interest-based organization operating in the Czech Republic. It primarily brings together commanders and deputy commanders of Industrial Fire and Rescue Brigades (HZSP), as well as other specialists active in the field of industrial fire protection. The Association was founded in 2001 as a civic association under the legislation in force at that time. Its purpose is to develop, support, and represent the professional, occupational, and social interests of HZSP personnel.
The main mission of AVHZSP is to study and analyze issues of fire protection in industrial and non-industrial enterprises, to support the education and professional development of HZSP personnel, to cooperate in the preparation and review of legislative and technical regulations in the fields of fire protection and occupational safety, and to promote the exchange of professional experience and best practices. The Association also supports publishing and educational activities and cooperates with domestic and international organizations of a similar focus.
An integral part of AVHZSP’s activities is the maintenance of corporate and representational traditions. The Association has its own uniform, functional insignia, and a set of official attributes (badges, shoulder boards, sleeve patches, and logo), the design and manner of wearing of which are regulated by an internal directive approved by the Executive Committee. These elements are intended exclusively for representing the Association at official, ceremonial, and commemorative events and express membership and functional status within AVHZSP.
