Dmitry Belokurov

A professional Ukrainian metallurgist and the third generation of steelmakers in his family. He holds a PhD in Physical Metallurgy.

He began his career as a scientist at the Dnepropetrovsk Metallurgical Institute, later serving as Deputy General Director and subsequently General Director and Chairman of the Board of the largest Ukrainian tube-rolling plant.

In 2004–2005, he worked as Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine. He currently serves as Vice President of the Association of Ukrainian Steelmaking Enterprises, UKRMETALURGPROM.

He has been passionate about uniforms and rank insignia for over 20 years.
His main areas of interest include the American Civil War, the Russian Civil War, the Ukrainian People’s Republic, the modern Ukrainian Armed Forces, and fictional rank insignia.
