Order of the Republic Police No. 180 of 20.03.1923

Order of the Republic Police No. 180 of 20.03.1923 introduced insignia by position for police officers. The insignia were cut from mottled cloth and sewn with threads of the corresponding color on the buttonhole along the middle vertical line. The insignia consisted of diamonds, squares and triangles. The rhombus was made with a small axis equal to 1.5 cm and a large axis equal to 2.5 cm; the square was made with a side equal to 1.5 cm; the triangle was an equilateral triangle with a side equal to 1.5 cm
