Skaut – Czech scouting ABS (2009 since)

Skaut – Czech Scouting ABS is an independent Czech scouting organization founded in 1999. It was established by a group of leaders and members who sought to return to the traditional principles and educational methods of classic Czech scouting, inspired by the ideas of Antonín Benjamin Svojsík, the founder of Czech scouting.

The organization emphasizes spiritual values, service, and honor, focusing on the personal development of children, youth, and adults through outdoor activities, teamwork, and democratic education. Skaut ABS aims to uphold the original spirit of the international scouting movement while offering an alternative to mainstream scouting associations in the Czech Republic.

Skaut ABS operates in various regions including Prague, Brno, and Tábor, where local units organize regular meetings, camps, and educational programs. The organization is a member of the World Federation of Independent Scouts (WFIS), which connects like-minded, independent scouting groups around the world.
