Administrative management personel of the NKVD Police Department, police associations, police medium command personnel schools, regional police schol, regional reserve and isnpectors of regional police schools and regional reserva had no insignia on their collar tabs; instead, collar tabs had special codings.

Буквы шифровки изготавливались: вышитые—для ЦАУ, накладные металлические желтого цвета — для остальных органов, кроме курсантов, для которых шифровка наносилась желтой краской.
The encryption letters were made: embroidered letters for the CAU, superimposed metal letters of yellow color - for other bodies, except for cadets, for whom the encryption letters were applied in yellow paint.
