Polskie Koleje Państwowe

1954-1965

  • Polskie Koleje Państwowe (Polish State Railways) usually wore their position insignia on collar patches. This is a long time tradition and is used untill now. But surprisingly the Regulation of Ministry of Railways on 16 Aug 1954 issued a new decret - moving the insignia (for the first time in history) onto the shoulder straps. The regulation didn´d exist for long - was changed in 1965.
